Take the Fall for a Murderer or Medium? (7) quiz.

"What...What happened?". You woke up to find yourself saying this, to no one. You we're back in your bed, feeling so light, almost like you we're back from death! You put a hand on your own forehead, no fever, not a thing, you we're there!

"You okay?". You almost fell off your bed in surprise as you didn't notice Alex coming in your room. "Yes, yes..." you eventually said. "But... What happened?". Alex then sat next to you on the bed. "You should know more then us, right?" he said.

"I don't know a thing, and way too weird to explain..." you replied to him. "There's nothing too weird in this world" he added. You felt weird as he started leaning in to your face.

He was brushing your hairs with his left hand, as the other kept his balance over you. You just stood there, what he was doing... His face was very close, and his eyes, in pure... Wonder?

He stopped to look down to your belly, even put a hand on it. Now you we're really looking weirdly at him in the eyes, as he stood up and headed for the door, leaving you full of questions, like that.

You stood up of your bed, ready to open your door and go after him, but you suddenly heard Ashen almost yelling on the other side of it! So you stood there, ear against wood, trying to ear.

"Things are not getting good AT ALL" you heard Ashen yell "You maybe tought it would pass by, right? And it's not because you mister never had a mom or whatsoever that you can keep her!".

Alex sent back "But... We keep her from the outside, she can't interfer with any..." but then Ashen cut him off "Then what are we, BOTH of us? She does interfer. You didn't do your job, on this one".

"May i repeat, our job is to finish off those who have slipped from their destiny, just like _______" Ashen precised. "She was supposed to get shot at the same time you killed off that guy, as it was meant to".

"But no, you mister had an interest in her? What a joke... NOW the Reaper itself came yesterday and tried to take her aways, gladly for you and her, i was there to keep her within us, RIGHT?".

"So now you're telling me to finish the job?" Alex asked calmly. A moment of silence came by. You we're shaking, feeling like breaking trough a wall to run aways. "Damnit..." you finally heard Ashen say.

"So?" Alex asked. Now Ashen went silent again. Seems he hesitates a lot. "Isn't it our job?" Alex repeated.

"And what..." Ashen then said "I guess we can wait and see... What's gonna happen eventually, she just must NOT know about it, Alex, so shut up as you always did". The last thing you heard was "alright".

You went back to sit on your bed, and just to think back about what they said, you almost forgot that this greater presence was after you... You looked all around, pretty scared, after all, what does death look like?
