You're walking out of the bathroom, just minding your own business, when you swing your foot to step onwards and stub your middle toe into the door frame. You...

..think for a deceptively slo-mo-moment that it won't hurt. Then the pain sinks in. Did we mention you're rolling on the floor n ..scream for your mommy. ..hobble on the rest of the way, red faced and swearing up enough of a storm to blow a pirate away, but otherwise you think you' ..shudder. And quickly go to find a change of pants. ..glare at the door frame and walk away with the slightest, just barely noticeable limp. ..keep on walking as though nothing happened. What door frame? Which toe? You don't remember kicking anything.

You find yourself at the doctor's office. Time for the old booster shot. When the nurse approaches with the sharp, shiny needle, you...

..whimper and cower under the examination table. ..aren't even conscious anymore. One look at that gauged instrument of pain and you passed out. ..casually ask if she will let you give yourself the shot. Why not? It's just a little pin-prick. ..don't even notice she's in the room. In fact, you don't even look up from the engrossing article in Reader's Digest until she ..reluctantly roll up your sleeve and inwardly chant the mantra "Suckers and stickers, suckers and stickers, suckers and.." ..shudder and watch the whole ordeal wide-eyed and slack mouthed.

You're arguing with your best friend and really piss him/her off. To show their utmost disapproval of your poor choice in words, they slap you in the face. You..

..blink, more surprised that they slapped you than hurt. ..blink. Simply because you try to do that every few seconds to keep your eyeballs moist. ..immediately burst into tears and run away. ..whine. "Ow, that hurt!" ..inwardly admit that you deserved that stinging reprimand, though you try your best not to show the mild pain outwardly. ..shudder, moan, and whimper. "Do it again! Only harder!"

You go on a few dates with a seemingly nice guy/girl. You've decided it's time to get yo' freak on. However, when the seemingly nice guy/girl comes out of the bathroom in skintight latex with a cat-o-nine tails, you..

..chuckle. This will be interesting. ..jump out the window and fall to a miserable, painful death. It might be mentioned that it was a ground-story window, and you o ..are still reading that article in Reader's Digest. You don't even notice the punishment. ..look like you're going into convulsions with all of the shuddering you're doing from just *looking* at the device. ..whimper. And scratch. And bite. And run away. ..decide you might as well stick around and see how things go. At least until it hurts too much and you get to beat the crap out
