What's sniping? No, microwaves are for cooking; eBay is for shopping. Tee hee.. maybe. Who needs to practise? I have sniping software to do it for me.

Who is Meg Whitman?

Didn't she fake an orgasm in When Harry Met Sally? Err... something to do with eBay? Maybe the quiz title is a give-away? A top person at eBay: I've seen her on those "world's most powerful people" lists. Margaret C. Whitman, born August 4, 1956, the President and CEO of eBay since March 1998. Obviously.

Can you see any of your eBay purchases right now?

No, I'd never buy anything off the internet. I can see a couple of items: a CD or DVD, a few nick-nacks or a cute pair of shoes. Are you kidding? I'm wearing my eBay pants and typing on my eBay computer while drinking coffee from my eBay mug. Yes, I'm sealed in my house by a wall of bubblewrap.

What would you do if you got negative feedback?

Shrug: it's only feedback. Cry. Rant on an eBay message board about the unfairness of it all. Call up all the demons of hell and send them to eBay Support demanding they remove that hideous red dot.

How many eBay accounts do you have?

One. Or none. I can't remember. Two: one is a secret one so my nosey relatives can't see what I've been buying. One for buying, one for selling. Six buying accounts, three selling accounts, one account for posting nicely on the message boards and one for trolling.

Have you ever sold anything on eBay?

No, can't be bothered with all that. I sold a couple of unwanted gifts or things my kids had finished with. I cleared out my entire attic on eBay (though I spent the money bidding on things to fill it up with again). I sold my soul on a 99p NR.

What does "Cheap Listing Day" mean to you?

A meaningless phrase. The chance to sell a couple of things that I might not have bothered about otherwise. That the site will be overwhelmed with tat and my own lovely items will go unsold, boo hoo, it's so unfair! The chance to put my well-honed alternative sales strategy into practice. I already have special listings prepared in Turbo List

Have you ever been to eBay University?

How dare they demean our houses of learning by using the word "University" for marketing purposes. I heard about it once, but I couldn't see the point. Yes, I've been, and I bought a mug and a t-shirt and a signed copy of Dan Wilson's book. I've not only been more than once, I've been a presenter too.

Who should leave feedback first, buyer or seller?

Really, what *is* this obsession with feedback? Seller: the buyer has done their bit when they've paid. Buyer: only the buyer knows when the transaction is finished (and besides, I want to be able to neg 'em back if they turn nasty) *sigh* Who cares? Feedback doesn't pay the mortgage.
