What is your typing style?

short sentences Long paragraphs, or in the least, complete sentences with proper punctuation. lotz of lolz n like stuf 2 maek it quiker 2 type lolz =P I press "Enter" after every other word or so. I usually just leave an away message.

A friend just IMed you with nothing interesting. You respond with...

I ignore the comment and wait for he/she to start a more engaging conversation. My autoresponder takes care of that...I'm probably not even there. lol LOLz, yea I'll probably just start a new topic.

Your away messages are usually...

Short and generic. always on. A word or two describing where I'm at. [i.e. "shower", "food", etc.] Usually a couple sentences saying where I am, and maybe when to expect me back. Probably a detailed list of what I'm doing, probably with timestamps and lots of line breaks, lolz.

Now...about your avatar...

What's an "avatar"? Oh, like, my buddy icon? I change it whenever I find a new one with my new favorite lyrics on it, haha I have a signature avatar that's been there since I first started using my chat client. It's the same one I've had, I can't be bothered to change it, and who cares, really? O.o Some generic thing the chat client put up for me. Whatever. Whatever, usually something I like, then I change it when I get bored of it- when I remember to or am there to.

What's your favorite chat client?

AIM!!! MSN? I use Gmail, and I guess GoogleTalk works... YIM, because even when I get logged off or d/ced, I can still get the messages people leave to my away! Trillian.

Your ideal chat client is...

Something I can use to type messages to friends if I'm on. Has lots of smileys! ^^ One that can handle numerous clients since I have pretty much all of them: AIM, ICQ, YIM, MSN, GoogleTalk, Jabber, etc... One that lets me customize my aways to my heart's content! <3 It doesn't really matter, but a nice big window so that I can read what I've written through all the linebreaks, lol

I like chat clients that...

are so basic they're hardly there. enable away messages. let me play games and stuff. have a streamlined interface, aren't bulky, are VERY discreet, and offer enough extras for functionality. Oh, and NO ADS! OMG! Uhh...lots of bells and whistles, smilies, colors, sounds, and stuff like that. LOTS OF FEATURES!! lolz
