You're out shopping for a new car. You are looking for:

something cheap, but solid. something nice, but not too expensive. something that you can really push to the limit. something challenging. something that looks like crap, but purrs like a kitten. yon double-D! anything with four wheels. A car is a car, after all. anything with four wheels. You can drive with your eyes closed, anyway. something with a little turbo kick and sexy curves. a machine that can hide your true power level.

It's time to relax. You're most likely to go:

to sleep. out for a smoke and a drink with old friends. and tell all your friends about the latest automotive technology that you'll never be able to afford. and try to master a new mountain. and brag about how much you've been practicing. to lunch with someone you like, but pretend not to know anything about cars. into your room to study others' techniques. insane. get your car fixed. Because you trashed it. looking for people to be condescending to.

The big race is about to start. You have something to say to your opponent.

"Your lies will never affect me!" "Superior workmanship will always prevail." "Heh... heh... heh..." "Best of luck to the both of us." You let your partner do the talking. "Revenge will be mine!" "You won't beat me again." "When I get my hands on a car, you're toast!" Just kidding. That sort of thing is beneath you. But you forgot. You're too busy yawning.

The race has just begun. You are blasting down the mountain pass at breakneck speed. You:

are smoking, drinking, day-dreaming, and still beating the proverbial pants off the next guy. read your opponents movements instinctively and come out ahead at the very end. are thinking about that special someone. run the other guy off the road. are getting sleepy. This is taking forever. make sure not to spill the contents of your cup-holder. are riding in the trunk. are hollering about yon double-d and simulation X. are taking mental note of everything from the leaves on the ground to the barometric pressure. get pissed and screw up.

The race is over. The winner has been decided. It's time to:

bring your car in to the shop. Again. congratulate the winner, or console the loser. kick something, damnit! All that practice was for naught! get yourself a ride home. go home. You're sleepy. Always. be pissed off. No matter who won. blame it all on someone else. dump that special someone. consult your mentor. go out for a smoke.

Do you have a favorite color?

Yellow. White. Black. Yellow. Under white. But it used to be black. Red. The color of BLOOD. Blue. Colors don't matter when you can drift backwards, underwater, while fighting with a pirate. Colors don't matter when you have 20 yen to your name. You're too pissed off to worry about things like colors. You're too sleepy to worry about things like colors.

The most important aspect to winning a race is:

being pissed off. not crashing into things. combat skills. taking all variables into account; in a word, preparedness. trusting your partner. the machine. ...well, you don't know. But you still win. courage and determination. experience. trusting in your instincts.

Someone says or does something to piss you off. Your first reaction is to:

laugh it off. The simpleton doesn't know what's what. kick the nearest piece of factory-wrought metal. whine and complain, but ultimately make a good point. exclaim "yare, yare," have a smoke and a drink, and watch some TV. ignore the fool. But if he pushes you, he's dead. whimper and degenerate until someone snaps some sense into you. cool down. You're above these things. run the bastard off the road! screw something up. explode. You can't BE any more pissed off.
