I remember us sitting down,
On our favorite bench,
That’s when you said…
"I think we should break up."
And that was the end of it,
You were gone,
You got off the bench,
Where we had carved out names in a heart,
Also where we had our first kiss,
As I saw you walk away,
I also saw the memories we had together walk away,
The love of my life walk away.
..............................................
When you were gone,
The tears started coming,
I traced my finger over the,
Heart, and over our names we had carved,
You’re gone now,
I need to let go,
But I can't,
Not after what you put me through,
I loved you,
And now you’re gone.
