Hey guys this is my first poem and it just came to me. I know it probably sucks but bare with me please...

You call it Affection
I call it abuse
you wipe away my tears
I laugh at how you're the cause of them
You say you'll never leave me
I whisper I wish you would
Another tear falls down my face
You're there to wipe it away
You tell me it's affection
I say yet again that it's not
You say you love me
I say I hate you
Another year goes by
You say the pain will only last so long
I call you a liar and you hit me again
The bruise already forms on my purple skin
You say you love me and hit me again
I mumble "Just wait," as my breathing starts to fade
