She sat there on the curb,
Holding her bear by the arm,
She had lost her mom,
And her embrace so warm.
Her tears came down,
Like rivers so blue,
Landing on her teddy,
And on the ground near her shoe.
Someone aproached,
Cautiously at first,
Kind and curious,
But with a vicious thirst.
She saw the man come near,
And brushed away her tears.
He asked where her parents had gone,
She told him she was all alone.
He comforted her,
Then grabbed her tight,
Soon she understood,
And began to kick and fight.
When people began their search,
For the missing little one,
All they found was her teddy bear,
And knew that she was gone.
