Everlasting stains
Burn through the desire of many words
Wise, unknown, called upon
Driving beautiful spirits insane
The souls wander until the crazed numbness returns.
Red water from the Skies
Softens the dense earth
Mind, body and soul are broken down
A once shattered heart mended
By a beautiful toxin of slurred symphony.
The flame-shot pen bleeds out musical liquid
Blood for the poet's vampire
The river of a dreamer's song
Simplified thoughts and complex tales
All alike
Drowned out in cherry-red poison
Until the warming chill departs
And the flickering insanity arrives once more.
Thick warmth of satisfaction
Snakes down an innocent throat
Taking voice and turning it into passion
The fire on the page itself
The flaring insanity arrives
Forever to return
Once more...
The Dreamer's Wine
I was listening to Nightwish when I wrote this (though that has nothing to do with it, just stating something cuz there nothin' else to state.)Did you like this poem? Write one of your own!
