Do You Remember?

This poem didn't exactly happen to me...but this is exactly what happened between my best friend and her childhood bestfriend/nextdoor neighbor. This is kinda a story/poem all combined in one. Well it's a bit different in real life but the emotions are all completely real...I WOULD KNOW! Anyways, I hope you enjoy and please rate & message! Or if you don't have time just rate! Being a lazy person I know how it is =]

Do You Remember?

Just another girl
you've passed in the hallway
Standing so close
But still so far away
from your world

These feelings from long before
All this time it was you
I came running back for

Seems like yesterday
We were one in the same
Childhood sweethearts
But a time came
and we went our seperate ways
Unbelieveable to see
how everything has changed

Do you remember?
Always the best of friends
Us against the world
Only needing each other

Don't know how much
this is killing me
I don't expect for you to stay
how could I believe
we might ever be the same?
Do you remember?

Packing my things
as i'll leave this all behind
Passing you in the hallway

But suddenly
Your eyes lock with mine
Sparking a connection

Can't tear my gaze away
as you walk in my direction

Do you remember?
Living so free
Days spent with you
were my fondest memories

Running through the meadows
a whole new tommorrow
and it starts
It starts with a "Hello"

Thanks for reading! I liked the way this turned out but I feel like it doesn't sound quite right at the end and im having writer's block...so I don't know how to fix it. SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE AWESOME!!!
