I give my broken heart to you in pain,
Broken in the middle and torn at times.
Fix it and a loving heart you will gain,
Its love rings out for all to hear the chime.
Many have tried to tenderly mend,
But break it at the end in lustful love.
Searching for its other half my heart bends,
It tries to fly but it’s a broken dove.
When giving up at last I find a half,
Broken like mine we fit in one repair.
After all our misleading ends we laugh,
We heal each other from the once unfair.
Forever his for my heart is entwined,
When you don’t look you’ll eventually find.
