She looked in the mirror, hating what she saw.
A beautiful girl hating her reflection, no,
A beautiful girl hating who she was.
He parents were always disappointed in her,
They wanted her to do more with her life, instead of just writing.
Her grades weren’t good enough, she couldn’t play sports well enough, she couldn’t do anything right.
She took her hand and punched the mirror, smashing it into a million pieces.
She watched as the blood from her hand traveled down her wrist, she just couldn’t take it any more.
She was done fighting. She took a piece of glass and slid it across her wrist.
More blood traveled down her wrist. She became light headed, and fell to the ground.
“I’m finally free…” She whispered, before slipping into darkness.
