The Legend of Lonely Lovers

Once upon a time
There was a sweet lonely girl who needed a friend
And one day she met a boy who was ready for the end
She talked to him so long
Comforted his sorrows
He looked into her eyes and said he loved her
Because of her, for him there'd be a tomorrow
They loved each other oh-so deeply
They were each other's everything
Until an interruption came
And broke them apart intrusively
But even though it was against the rules
She couldn't keep away from him
For he meant more than precious jewels
She was always there for him
And him for her
She thought they could never break apart
They would last forever
But nothing lasts forever
And so the old saying is true
The day finally came
When he watned someone new
Still wanting to remain close friends
They accepted each other's forgiveness
And since the love was still there
They knew they would live in happiness
But something went wrong
And he ignored her completely
Not answering her calls
Leaving her heart so empty
Then one day whilst digging around in his dresser
She found soemthing that caught her eye
A pile full of letters
They were dated at the same time she and her love dated
And when she read what was written on them everything around her faded
It told about another girl her knew
He told her he loved her
Said she was his jewel
He said she was his everything
To his ex-lover he'd said the same
He said she was so special
And non one was at all the same
Her eyes swelled up with tears
She couldn't believe what she'd read
All the lies he told her
All the things he'd said
Not able to bear the pain
She wandered to the bridge
And drowned herself in the lake
