Happy Birthday
Ears ringing
Head spinning
I sit there and watch
Pale skin
People talking
The quiet sounds of people walking
They walk away I yell to stop
But they don't they just turn and look with sadness
Thats when I realize what has happened
THe pieces in my heart flake off
I colapse
Praying and hoping
That I could join you
And be there with you in your last moments
But the they said no
I tried to get in
But they kept me back
As you slowly started to fade
Into the beautiful spring day
Just bursting through those cold Iron doors and seeing
You were still as a stone
Lips turning blue
Humming in my head happy birthday to you
