It feels like I'm drowning in these lies
All this naiveness
All these smiles
In a world where noone cares
I'd rather you see the real me
But only if you dare
It seems your eyes are different than theirs
But is your soul and mind open enough?
You lie like me
So I hope you didn't suffer
Like the way I did to fit in
Can you save me?
Or will you stay with the others
closing your heart from the real world?
They don't have the genuine sympathy
To share true happiness with others
Imagine.
Everyone around you is wearing masks
Yet they dare judge even before noticing,
How cruel is that?
Even in the city
It feels like the wilderness
Like the Law of the Wild
Eat or be eaten
or shall I say
Hate or be Hated?
Are you drowning too?
Will you take off your mask?
If you open your eyes
Just once
You might be able to save me
Before I watch my true self vanish
Right before my eyes
Drowning
