Moving On Is Murder
these ideas just keep coming...I must admit what we had has been laid to rest
You forgot everything and kept right on grinning
While I plastered a smile on my face but remained in the past
And everyday our memories painfully play in my mind
Pushing them aside would be dangerous to my sanity
The happy times soothe my broken heart if only for a second
Then realization sets in and agony pulsates throughout me
All the hurting you gave me is slowly killing me off
But if I were to forget and move on...
What would happen?
You forgot everything and kept right on grinning
While I plastered a smile on my face but remained in the past
And everyday our memories painfully play in my mind
Pushing them aside would be dangerous to my sanity
The happy times soothe my broken heart if only for a second
Then realization sets in and agony pulsates throughout me
All the hurting you gave me is slowly killing me off
But if I were to forget and move on...
What would happen?
