Eat this
Like that
Buy this not that
We stampede from fad to fad
One trend to the next
Ending up with nothing to wear
Little personality
And no identity
Images of seemingly perfect people
And skinny bodies
Bombard us
It’s a never ending battle
That will leave us vacuously dashing around
Reserving no time for ourselves
We need to stand up
I say
Swim upstream
Be a pioneer
Popularity doesn’t equal wisdom
Being skinny wont bring happiness
Why wait for the thumbs up?
Lets think for ourselves
Go where no one has gone before
Follow the leading of the soul
Charge forth!
