Have you ever looked out of your window,
And thought, ' I wish I could be,
Outside in the sun,
Where the world had begun,
AndI'll hear the waves of the sea'?
But when you start thinking properly,
You realise what is right,
You have a nice room,
(Though the mess is a gloom)
And a mum that will hold you tight.
You've a dad that will go out working,
Getting money for the family to share,
You've a mum that will laugh,
And give you a bath,
With lots of love and care.
We all know that life is a challenge,
But we know it can be good aswell,
So relax for a while,
And put on a smile,
And then your life should be swell.
