Ok, so the last time I posted a poem on here it was about an ex. Now I am a few years older and here I am again. This time it is about my daughter. My daughter who was never born. I had a miscarriage and it broke my heart. So, I wrote this for her.

You never got the chance to laugh
You never got the chance to sigh
You never got the chance to speak
You never got the chance to cry
But Mommy and Daddy will always LOVE you!
We never got the chance to see you smile
We never got the chance to see you stand
We never got the chance to see you play
We never got the chance to hold your hand
But Mommy and Daddy will always LOVE you!
I'll miss the fact that I won't be able to kiss your boo-boo's
I'll miss the fact that I won't be able to buy you toys
I'll miss the fact that I won't be able to hold you tight
I'll miss the fact that I won't be able to hear you talk about boys
But Mommy and Daddy will always LOVE you!
We'll never get to see your beautiful face
We'll never get to feel your soft hair
We'll never get to touch your smooth skin
We'll never get to see your amazing stare
But no matter how much time goes by Mommy and Daddy will always LOVE our little girl.
