As memories drown and leave my mind,
I can’t help but smile as I’m free from your binds.
A friendship that hurt more then it should,
Was never something one would want to forgive.
You guys pushed me over the edge again and again,
I knew you guys we’re only waiting until I lost my head.
I don’t know why I stood with this instead of ripping it to shreds,
Because seriously,
This friendship was worst then having a gun pointed to my head.
We we’re fine until high school started to arrive,
Then you guys started to have fake personality and lives.
Popularity and fitting in became your favourite game,
And I was just an obstacle not willing to change.
I’ll never regret the first day we ever met.
Back then we we’re so happy and calm,
Nothing seemed like it could go wrong.
But like all good things it had to end,
And I guess we just weren’t made to be friends.
But you guys we’re still cruel and hurtful with me,
For that not even a hello will be heard from this weed.
I may be different and considered an outcast.
But to change to fit in with you guys,
Is just not something that I’m willing to try.
I’m me and that’s all I’m ever going to be,
I’m not the type to change to fit in.
I’m a loser and freak by nature,
You used to love this feature.
I guess what I’m trying to say,
Is you guys are to fake for me today.
Calling me names and insulted my style,
Was never something that happened at our old school St-Charles.
High school changed you what can I say?
Well I guess I’m saying that I have new friends and am leaving you today.
