I lie on my back
looking up at the faces of three personages
as theylaugh at my pitifulness.
I close my eyes and sigh.
How long must I suffer?
How much more pain can these monsters cause me?
"How much more of a disgrace can you be?"
One of them asks me.
"What will it take to turn you into the monster we want?"
the other says.
I am ordered to stand up and face the hideous black wall
I extend my arms out and place my hands on the wall.
I wait.
I wait for the umbearable pain to come.
My back aches,
tears run down my cheeks.
I wait for the day
the day that this will end
The day that I destroy these monsters.
The day that I am finally free
Monsters
