I was the one who was chasing blindly for love,
And I couldn't see the other next to me,
Searching for the same.
I asked for support, for guidence,
And you gave it to me without a second thought.
I clung to you when I was sad,
And you held me up,
Reasurring me that I could go on.
And when we finally found what we were looking for,
I greedily grabbed it for myself,
And left you stranded and alone in the dark.
I was happy,
You were not.
I came back, as if nothing had happened,
But my heart was not so callous,
That I felt a deep sense of wrong that I had done,
And now, I offer you a pitiful amends.
I cannot return what I wrongfully stole from you,
But maybe I can share the smallest bit,
That I have left to share.
Please forgive me...
