I twitched at the thought,
so great, yet not.
I flinched in fear,
in facing my final year.
I barricaded those bronze doors,
and fell asleep in muffled snores.
In my dreams, I dreamed I'd wake,
and in my final year it'd take,
my life.
Alas I awoke... Was it real?
Staring at wide gates of steel.
Never again would I see,
those so very close to me.
Then I knew my time had come,
for all was said and done.
I no longer flinshed in fear,
in facing my final year,
for it has ended...
