Save Yourself

So here I am again
Stuck in a rut
As people pass by
And can't see how much I cry
So I wonder
Is it time
To go away
To avoid the pain to come?
To much of this and that
And so many lies
Bring tears to my eyes
Because I thought I knew
What's the worse I could go through
But I thought wrong
And I'm not sure how to move along
I've lost all hope
Because I have no where to turn to,
And yet I do,
But I don't know how to ask for help
Save yourself
Don't notice me,

Just walk by and don't care
I'm burying myself in the basement of my heart
And I'm swallowing the key
So no one can find me

The trouble and worry
Because I'm not worth it
I never have been and never will be
The slim light in my life has become even smaller
I'm holding on but barely

Don't get to know me
Because you might lose me
I have a small light in my life
It had been so big
And I was holding on but I'm not sure how to now
I'm holding on for her, my best friend
I'm holding on for them, my Mom, Dad, and brother
But no one else because
I know they trully care
For some non-existant reason though
All I cause is trouble
I have no reason to exist
So please spare yourself

Before I would've responded but now
I 'm not sure I can
