All it is
Nothing seems real,
did anything ever?
Beauty -
Is it just shapes?
on the face,
she tries so hard -
as does he,
I've studied every curve,
seen every 'flaw',
yet I see the hiding beauty -
the corner of her lips,
and the sparkle of his eye,
if only she welcomed every curve,
and he hugged every flaw,
beauty no longer has a meaning,
definition,
standard,
to me,
I just wish others wouldn't see it so,
if he and she,
could welcome every curve,
hug every flaw,
we'd all be so unique.
did anything ever?
Beauty -
Is it just shapes?
on the face,
she tries so hard -
as does he,
I've studied every curve,
seen every 'flaw',
yet I see the hiding beauty -
the corner of her lips,
and the sparkle of his eye,
if only she welcomed every curve,
and he hugged every flaw,
beauty no longer has a meaning,
definition,
standard,
to me,
I just wish others wouldn't see it so,
if he and she,
could welcome every curve,
hug every flaw,
we'd all be so unique.
