We saw ourselves in the mirror
Faintly outlined sillouhettes
Merely waiting for someone to tell us
Simply not to forget
But nothing was remembered
And all was regretted
When the moon rose and light was gone
When the stars came but the sun never shone
Our faces paled as we realized
