He Had My Smile
Realized I'm the one who's hurting me.Watch me fake a smile,
You'll never see the tears,
Deaths knocked on my window,
He stood and leered,
Tap, tap, tap,
In the rain, in the shine,
When I fell asleep,
He whispered, "You're mine",
Crooked his bony finger,
Lured me all the way outside,
The door locked behind me,
I cannot run and hide,
My eyes found the ground,
There's a crack in the concrete,
Took a step forward,
So it was right beneath my feet,
It reminded me of the hole,
In the center of my heart,
Jagged and cut,
A tragic piece of art,
Death handed me a blade,
Told me it was nice,
Repeated, "Again, again",
Slice after slice,
My blood dripped to the floor,
Copper and bittersweet,
I looked to Death,
In pure defeat,
He took the silver knife,
Then hit the perfect place,
I saw him smiling at me,
He had my smile, my face..
You'll never see the tears,
Deaths knocked on my window,
He stood and leered,
Tap, tap, tap,
In the rain, in the shine,
When I fell asleep,
He whispered, "You're mine",
Crooked his bony finger,
Lured me all the way outside,
The door locked behind me,
I cannot run and hide,
My eyes found the ground,
There's a crack in the concrete,
Took a step forward,
So it was right beneath my feet,
It reminded me of the hole,
In the center of my heart,
Jagged and cut,
A tragic piece of art,
Death handed me a blade,
Told me it was nice,
Repeated, "Again, again",
Slice after slice,
My blood dripped to the floor,
Copper and bittersweet,
I looked to Death,
In pure defeat,
He took the silver knife,
Then hit the perfect place,
I saw him smiling at me,
He had my smile, my face..
