Wrongly Portrayed
I knew a boy well, from way back when
Who was once small, floating through life without a single care
Confident, laughed too loud, arrogance more than one could bare
But alot has changed since then
Afterall, he is not the age of ten
I saw him with one brief stare, within the sun's glare
I knew there was something more there
That is when true feelings bloomed once again
Deep inside I can see within his twinkling eyes
A different being from what he portrays
I want to crack the surface and free his soul
Something brilliant that is classified
As long as it is not himself he betrays
Love will take its toll
