Dreams can't hold the wishes made
Memories can't save the seconds,
Or time as it fades
Wishes can't bring back the love you lost
Tears can't erase all that it's cost
Fantasies can't create what will never be
You can't imagine something your eyes will never see
Thoughts can't conjure pieces to make you whole
Denial can't give back those the world stole
You can't live, only to die inside
You can't remember an unmade memory,
But you still can't let it die
