this is a poem I wrote a couple years ago. yes it is religious, almost like a prayer in poem form....

I am the one lost in a storm on the sea.
You are the lighthouse, shining for me.
I am the one that has lost her path.
You are the one that can bring me back.
I am the sheep that is lost and astray.
You are the shepherd that can show me the way.
I am the one trapped in the valley of death.
You are my life, my soul, my breath.
I am the one at the end of her rope.
You are the one that is giving me hope.
I am the one that is caged like a dove.
You are the one setting me free with your love.
I am the sinner, lost and afraid.
You are the one that Judas betrayed.
I am the one that cannot understand.
You are the one with the holes in your hands.
I am the one who can't handle the loss.
You are the one who died on the cross.
I am the prayer "I've sinned and I'm sorry."
You are the reply "It's taken care of, don't worry."
I am the one clothed in eternal night.
You are the one that shows me the light.
I am the one who now lives for God.
You are the one and only, my Lord.
