I see the pictures in the magazines, on the internet, in the books.
The world has so many beautiful things and yet all we can do is stand by and watch as so many animals get killed purely for sport, or black market trade.
In the Elizabethan era, torments of animals (now considered inhumane) were taken part in.
Back then, Hawks were trained by blinding them, which involved passing a needle and thread through
its eyes then tying the thread at the back of its head, and then there was bearbaiting and bull baiting as
well.
I don’t see the difference between these “sports” and the murder of animals today for pure profit.
Sharks, elephants, tigers, bears, whales, they all have a part to play in the circle of life. The only thing preventing that is us.
We watch as they are culled for their fins, skins, tusks, and even though they are endangered, their precious meat. I see these pictures broadcast widely, the bloodshed is incredible.
Even seals are being bludgeoned and beaten to death, which only proves my point;
our world has changed to one only interested in dividends and profit.
