fade away into the shadows away from the light of day,
that light which is life...is my true desire.
escape the pains and hate of the world....
misery is all that pours into my soul it seems.
take my life - please take it from me!
it's getting too hard to live these days....
they think all is perfectly fine with me, but it's not.
this smile masks the tears and pain I feel,
they never see past the smile.
now that I'm alone, I just let the smile go,
I let the tears flow, and the hatred out.
how long will I lie to them?
will they ever see through any of it?
I cannot any longer escape into the realm of sleep.
my dreams no longer offer that temporary snctuary.
I have chosen the side of hate, no longer to love.
it hurts more to love than to hate.
the world around me is crumbling and shattering,
and soon I hope to be no more.
all my existence is, and ever will be, is a burden.
I am just...a useless regret.
but,I will probably continue to live...
and so with a fake smile I will have to go forth.
