I was trapped in a world of flames
I looked to you to pull me out, I called your name
There was no answer
I wept as the smoke stung my eyes
The blackness hid you from my sight
I was utterly alone
I laughed as I felt my flesh melting
how foolish to think you'd want to save me
My ashes blow in the wind
