Freedom
Alone in his corner does he sit;
A servant to his fix.
A cigarette in one hand,
A beer in the other-
He's slowly wasting away.
Although for help does he long,
Not a soul will meet his gaze;
Not a hand will reach out
To guide him to safety.
Everyone's too concerned about themselves.
They've got no time for
A man lost in misery.
A servant to his fix.
A cigarette in one hand,
A beer in the other-
He's slowly wasting away.
Although for help does he long,
Not a soul will meet his gaze;
Not a hand will reach out
To guide him to safety.
Everyone's too concerned about themselves.
They've got no time for
A man lost in misery.
