As I walk down the street,

It's all I see,

Faces on

Billboards,

Buses,

Walls,

TV.

"Perfection" is what I observe,

A title only God can rightfully deserve.

As I look around,

I see

Children,

Adults,

Ederly alike,

Stare in awe at these people in the pictures.

Some laugh,

Others simply shake their heads and walk away.

All, however, carry on with their day.

News at

Nine,

Five,

And Eleven,

Exposed who these people really are.

102 pound whores,

Men who will do anything for one more fix.

A smile airbrushed onto a crying face.

The tears easily erased.

They believe what they hear and see.

They have never met the people in the pictures,

But think they know everything about them.

They condemn these strangers,

For crimes they, themselves commit,

For the most sinful ones that they don't admit.

As I sit at home,

Staring at the screen,

Murders,

Rapist,

And drug dealers,

Shy away from camera flashes.

Sentenced to prison,

For crimes they are accused.

Some will see the day.

Many will never again walk the earth free.

Others will die in chains.

Maggots picking at their remains.

All these people,

Of different race and walk of life,

Are the same.

The star,

The prisoner,

The passerby,

All from one man

And one woman.

Brothers and sisters in God.

Hate eachother for what God made them.

They do bad unto one another,

And expect better in return.

Only to die and burn.

As I walk down the street,

As I look around,

As I sit at home,

I know the reality that many hide from.

In God's eyes,

We are all his children.

No man is better than woman,

No master than slave,

No color over another.

We will all be judged by the same eyes,

When Christ looks at me,

What will he see?

Will he see a

Loving,

Compassionate,

And faithful child?

Or will satan be reflectd in my life?

The choice is mine to make.

For now, my sould is at stake.

I will remember

When I walk down the street,

When I look around,

When I sit at home.

The faces I see on

Billboards,

Buses,

Walls,

TV,

Are loved by God for who they are.

I will remember,

The stars,

The prisoners,

And passerbys,

Are all people,

Who look just like me.
