You wake from your bed,
only to see your home corrupted.
The floors and walls replaced with black lead pipes.
As you walk, you feel one with the machines around you.
The short hallway feels like an enternity of pain and suffering.
You turn the corner, to what you believe is your bathroom.
It is too dark to see, but you make your way to the sink.
As you approach it, your mind fades into darkness.
You see yourself, staring at the entity from afar.
In the violet void in the distance, you see the face of evil.
The person laughs, as he prepares his assault on your mind.
You feel hunger.
You let your mind guide you, as you approach the kitchen.
Where you imagined nourishment to be, you see a wide forest.
Children running about, enjoying the scenery and each other.
Their eyes are filled with fear and pain, but it does not show through action.
As you make your way through the thick forest, you come upon two men, standing before what seems to be a door.
As you approach, they ignore you completely.
As the two men kneel to the door, it lets out a ghoulish entity. One that closely resembles the evil once faced.
The door glows with a blinding light, shedding any and all growth that touched it.
The now bright white and blue door sits for a moment, as all who watch it realize something missing.
A section of the door, shaped like a gem, is missing.
As I look back to the children watching, I see their souls gather.
As the bodies are abandoned, a gem is made, and quickly fitted into the door.
The blinding light intensifies.
All is lost.
