With Eyes that glisten like two whirlwinds of blue
And Skin as soft as a baby’s
The legs of a runner
And a heart of gold
Love as sweet
As when the story was told
And with sparks flying,
Our bodies create a delicious thunderstorm
Of lust and love,
Want and need,
Our eyes meet as if for the first time
And we stop
Soaking up the shine
The shine of our eyes,
Watching, waiting, slowly sedating
We shut out eyes, only for an instant,
And in that instant we dream.
Our dreams take us away
To a place where we can be one
As one, our hearts play and have fun,
They play games such as tag, and hide and go seek,
Or they play their favorite game, a staring contest.
In which they lose themselves in the magnitude of magic in the eyes
The eyes that transport us back to life,
Where we lay, half asleep, and fully awake.
Our clothes are trashed and scattered
Our hearts are here and there, to and fro,
Our love one of a kind.
There we lay, half asleep, fully awake
Trying to fight dreams escape.
I stare deeply into two blue whirlwinds.
You stare back at two black bottles of ink.
We look and we blink
As sleep takes hold, and begin to sink.
We sink into the depths of a love unknown.
And we contemplate on what our eyes have shown
Devotion and lust
Sleep and energy,
Our eyes play games,
Back and forth we blink
Finally our mouths come into play
As we giggle as the deeper we sink.
I smile at you,
And you smile at me.
And we finally say, what our eyes seem to think.
We both mutter, “I love you”
Right before our last blink
