What do you do when your true love dies?
Do you continue to walk the Earth as planned,
Or end it to see his eyes?
You feel the pain in your heart,
Tearing away as if a tiger clawed a crossed it,
Leaving pieces of it apart.
You long for his embrace,
The touch of his lips,
The features on his face.
What you miss with extreme obsession,
Are his deep blue eyes,
Full of passion
Staring deep into your eyes
With one gaze,
Your souls unite,
Running together for days
No one understands the pain.
They claim, “time heals all”
But you know it will never be the same.
All but you have moved on
They give you reassuring smiles
You smile back, even though things still feel wrong
The pain becomes unbearable
And you crack.
You feel too terrible.
You scream at the sky to send him here
You swear at the clouds that if they give you one more minute with him,
You would give them everything with no fear
And you swear at God for taking the one thing you ever wanted.
Your knees give way
And you begin to bawl
Screaming his name,
All day long.
You become Juliet Capulet
With your happy dagger at hand
This has become your only outlet
You feel a sharp pain
Then all goes numb
You look into blue rain
And realize it’s his blue eyes again.
