Goodbye to a friendship,
that never saw the light.
Cause the darkness
overwhelmed our fears.
It was too fast;
so we hid.
We hid from all we knew,
and the past
no one wants to re-live.
So now it is the tears
that take the place
of all the words
we'll forever leave unspoken.
