I saw you walking
Through the crowded mall
The first thing I noticed about you
Was that you weren't all that tall
Short but cute
Really cute
If you would have talked to me
I would have been a mute
I saw you coming towards me
Walking through the aisle
I looked down but then looked up
And gave you a smile
You were looking down
Until you saw me smiling at you
You looked up
And you smiled too
I tell myself that it's pointless
And that i don't have a chance
But maybe you could change my mind
By asking me to dance
I'll probably never see you again
I'll probably eventually forget about you
Or maybe you'll run into me
And we can have a re-do
