Crawling on your hands and knees you place your head on my lap
A worthless dog
I push you to the carpet floor and stand
You right yourself and look up at me
Straight into my eyes
I slap you hard
Sending you sprawling on the floor
You forget your place
My monotone sends shivers down your spine
Your crawl to me and grab my pant leg
Muttering apologies
I kick you in the chest
Landing hard, coughing and crying
You place your hand to your chest
Stand
Scrambling, you quickly comply
Come
Slowly you walk towards me
Once in arms reach I grab your hair
Pulling you towards me I capture your lips
Bruising them
Pulling by your hair I snap your head back
And attack your neck
Biting and sucking
You whimper quietly
I let your hair go
And push you to the ground
Yet again
I kick you hard
Again
And again
You curl into a ball
Trying to stop the pain
Every grunt of pain, every whimper
Thrills me
Then I stop and look down at you
You look up
And smile
Through your tears
Then you laugh when I raise my hand
It’s like music to my ears
