misery dispersed
i remember who i am nowthe face looking back at me is the one i often picked off the floor
after been given a slap in the face by one of your many ideas
about who i should be
the only time i could tell who i was
was by the tone of your voice and your state of mind
the empty promises you delt
as if our relationship was a card game you had to beat me at
swore to god i was the only one for you
hope you stay out of a thunder storm
watched you walk into the fading distance for the last time
i dusted off your pedistal
and laughed at your fake confidence
the sun shines over me now
thanks for taking your cloud with you
after been given a slap in the face by one of your many ideas
about who i should be
the only time i could tell who i was
was by the tone of your voice and your state of mind
the empty promises you delt
as if our relationship was a card game you had to beat me at
swore to god i was the only one for you
hope you stay out of a thunder storm
watched you walk into the fading distance for the last time
i dusted off your pedistal
and laughed at your fake confidence
the sun shines over me now
thanks for taking your cloud with you
