I miss you so much that I can't see straight
From these hot, worthless tears flooding at ease.
This is the unwilling plunge I regularly take
Into my mind's reservoir of memories.
A few more memories deteriorate lifelessly
As the days turn to dust and brilliant color fades.
Recollections once most vivid and lively
Are now reduced to only black and white shades.
Until the last trace of you is swept away in grey,
With every remnant and every connected string,
Until that final moment which seems oh so far away,
I'll always miss you more than anything.
