The sunshine blankets the newly fallen rain drops

Making them sparkle like diamonds

A newfound day

A newfound glory

Beautiful as could be

Simple and free

Peace isn't a price to pay

But a thing to finally welcome

Something to find past the horizon of the bay

The rain and sun have come to their peace

So why not humans?

What's our next excuse?

A newfound day

A newfound glory

Beautiful as could be

Simple and free

I wake everyday

With the wish

and with every night fall

Comes the same wish upon a star

A newfound day

A newfound glory

Beautiful as could be

Simple and free

So why aren't we?

the sun and rain have made their peace

Why is it so hard for humans?
