What she hides
the bleeding inside
that wounded soul,
the need to feel alive.
What she hides
the healing inside;
for when it is revealed,
it is crushed with a lie
What she hides
the wanting inside
the hurting she feels
each moment she's alive.
What she hides
no longer inside, but
standing on the outside
so now they all see.
