This is wrote on something that happened a couple days ago. I saw my father, and I haven't talked to him in ages. I want to, but I can't because of a restraining order. It's for my own good, and I understand that, but sometimes you just want your dad around. Sometimes you just want things to be normal. I think everyone wants that, at least once in their life. Admit it or not, you semi-miss your parents. Kinda like me.

I can't belive it's been so long

that these memories I repressed, still so strong

that those days of fear came to an end

but remembering you is an eternity I spend.

You still see me, remember me too

Tell me those words, "Daughter, I love you."

I walk away, starting to cry.

I can't forget you, but I have the will to try.

Your words still haunt me, that is true

I want to say "I love you, too."
