A Screaming Goodbye
I don't remember when I wrote this one.My heart pleads for you to stay,
but my mouth screams for you to go.
So with a sigh you board the train that
awaits you. You sit at the window and
stare at me with a blank expression.
You see an old friend, angry and hurt.
I see a man making a mistake.
but my mouth screams for you to go.
So with a sigh you board the train that
awaits you. You sit at the window and
stare at me with a blank expression.
You see an old friend, angry and hurt.
I see a man making a mistake.
