Luck me!
Found a piece of chocolate!
Sitting upon the counter
Alone, unguarded!
Should I eat it now?
I can just imagine the sweet taste
Or should I wait till later?
When I’m hungry?
Or starving?
What if it’s the last?
I shell ever be able to enjoy?
Until I make up my mine
I’ll just put it in my pants pocket
Nice and safe
I shall guard it with my life!
I will fight off any hungry pirate or ninja
That decides to come along
Looking for my piece of chocolate
For it is mine!
And mine alone!
And it’s safe with in my pocket
Until I really need it
Unable to stop myself any longer
I reach into my pocket to retrieve
My chocolate
But, silly me
I forgot
Chocolate
Melts…..=(
