Everyone told her she was pretty
Everyone said that they loved her so much
She knew they all lied to her face
She new that the moment she walked away
They would start to talk about her again
But she would fake a smile and keep on going
She was the perfect student
The best friend you could ask for
The teachers always said how bright she was
And how much of a delight she was to have in class
Every day she would hide behind her pearly whites
She wouldn’t let them see how there words hurt her
She would never let them know the affect they had on her
She would walk with her head held high
And act like everything was fine
the same applied for home
She walked around and was the perfect daughter
She did everything her parents told her
She never backed talked
And always had on her pearly whites
She would go to church every Saturday
And listen to the preacher
But at night when she was alone
She could truly show her feelings
She would lock her door and hide her self away
She would put on her head phones
And let the music carry her away
Let the lyrics touch her lonely and depressed soul
She let the beat flow through her like it was apart of her
It took away all her sadness and her worries
Then when she felt the most calm and collected
She would listen to make sure every one was in bed
Then run and grab her blade
She would roll it over and over In her hands
Seeing the shiny metal excited her
She would remove the long sleeves that no one ever questioned
She started to drag the blade then stopped
No she told herself tonight is the night
She carefully carved one letter at a time on her left arm
I-A-M-P-R-E-T-T-Y-
On the right she carved
I-M-S-O-R-R-Y
She laid on her bed and looked at her reflection
In the tiny blade
She smiled and closed her eyes knowing she was going to die!
