My lover shadow
What have you wrought,
miserable shadow?
as neverending memories twist,
twist and fade like the spirit dance,
spirit dancing as the wind carries them.
Dragging them down,
down to the depths of the sea,
the unforgiving sea.
We drank to love,
my lovely shadow,
wide eyed and childlike
hand in hand we did thirst,
for the other's kiss,
Oh passionate kiss,
and sickening vengeful vision.
Of lies,
of truths,
truths neither of us,
my dearest shadow,
could comply with.
Visions, lovely shadow,
visions of our misery,
misery sure to plague us,
like thousands of needles in our flesh,
misery sure to plague us when we're apart, shadow,
Oh so far apart my shadow.
Twisting, fading you are, dear love,
as the wind carries you to the sea,
to the depths of the sea, shadow
the depths of the unforgiving sea.
miserable shadow?
as neverending memories twist,
twist and fade like the spirit dance,
spirit dancing as the wind carries them.
Dragging them down,
down to the depths of the sea,
the unforgiving sea.
We drank to love,
my lovely shadow,
wide eyed and childlike
hand in hand we did thirst,
for the other's kiss,
Oh passionate kiss,
and sickening vengeful vision.
Of lies,
of truths,
truths neither of us,
my dearest shadow,
could comply with.
Visions, lovely shadow,
visions of our misery,
misery sure to plague us,
like thousands of needles in our flesh,
misery sure to plague us when we're apart, shadow,
Oh so far apart my shadow.
Twisting, fading you are, dear love,
as the wind carries you to the sea,
to the depths of the sea, shadow
the depths of the unforgiving sea.
